editConsidering this village has a 500 year history the WWII section, with particularly the 1943 executions, outweighs the rest of the article by some way. So I have moved the information to its own page (there) and left a summary here. This also resolves the categories, which had listed the village in several WWII categories, amongst articles on events of that period. I trust everyone is OK with that.
