Metrics
What are some useful Kanban metrics? -- ke4roh (talk) 16:36, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think Kanban can be considered a metric approach. Doubtless inherent bean counters will be able to develop some though. 76.180.168.166 (talk) 03:15, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
This page is redundant?
Why does this topic exist at all when there is a primary page on Kanban (i.e. not "Kanban (Development)". And why is "Dave Anderson" being given a significant credit here? Looks like this should be merged with the main page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.112.150.24 (talk) 19:51, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
- On the contrary, Kanban originally was a method of tracking product manufacturing. It has been adapted to software development as an iterative, agile development methodology. It needs its own page but this article may need more clarification in its (missing) lead section so that this metamorphosis is clear.

- Prior to Kanban as a method of tracking product manufacturing, a kanban process for software was developed at Corbis by another individual. The Kanban Method is a particular method of applying Kanban in a software development organization. While Mr Anderson denies there is such a thing as Kanban as a team management process, there definitely is, since many folks use it as distinct from the Kanban Method that Mr Anderson controls. -- Al Shalloway — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alshall (talk • contribs) 19:02, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

- +1 to rename this page to Kanban Method and see if it survives WP:NOT. -- Robocoder (t|c) 14:15, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
