kane vs atarigane vs surigane vs chanchiki
editCan we have a citation for atarigane vs surigane being a size distinction? Most shops I've seen just use the term interchangeably, where "surigane" is used way less commonly.
From what I understand, the proper name for this instrument is the "atarigane" and "kane" is just a short name for it.
An additional name for this is "chanchiki", which is based off the kuchi shoga. Someguyfromboston (talk) 00:02, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
