Language in this article says that the district has been represented “almost exclusively” over the last “half century” by republicans. And then states that a democratic congressman represented the district for 9 terms until 1994.
would be accurate to state that the district has been republican for the past 3 decades, but over the past half century the district has been represented by a democrat for a total of 18 years 73.16.81.174 (talk) 02:10, 14 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
