The building is not larger than Washington, DC. I read it is third in size following DC and Austin, Texas. This article needs references.Erviltnec (talk) 03:03, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Official Name
edit. Generating discussion - what is the official name of the capitol building? Various sources say either "Capitol Building," or "Statehouse," and some say both. Please comment on reliability/authority of any cited sources. Thanks, Alphachimera (talk) 16:04, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- "Kansas State Capitol" is the official mailing address name, as seen at the bottom of http://www.kslegislature.org. Ryan2845 (talk) 17:01, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. One can also review news sources to confirm. Viriditas (talk) 13:53, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, see: (http://www.treanorarchitects.com/static/Statehouse/index.html) and (http://www.kansascity.com/2011/01/28/2617723/kansas-marks-150th-with-low-key.html) and (http://www.da.ks.gov/fm/buildings/capitol/information/Default.htm) and (http://kansas150slk.blogspot.com/2010/08/kansas-state-capitol.html). I'm comfortable leaving the page as Kansas State Capitol--for the time being--based on Wikipedia's sourcing requirements. But as a Native Kansan, I can tell you that it's the Statehouse. The House Bill that authorized construction called it the Statehouse. The state employee in charge of renovations is called the Statehouse Architect. Room numbers in the building start with SH. It's maddening not to have a verifiable "source" for this! Alphachimera (talk) 01:51, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

New Capitol Dome color
editWould someone be willing to post a picture with the new dome color, since the Capitol renovation is done? I do not live in Topeka, so it'd be hard for me to get a picture. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:21, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
