possible vandalism
editThe conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 per cent of Azerbaijan since 1992, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts. Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the U.S. are currently holding peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council's four resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding regions.
What does this text have to do with the article? An please, give sources for such strong claims, as "Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan" or "Armenian armed forces have occupied 20 per cent of Azerbaijan since 1992". Хаченци (talk) 03:48, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- That is only part of the removed text. It was added by Elvin.Huseynli. I will remove the POV wording, but please do not remove the sourced information. --Երևանցի talk 03:53, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- Well, when I saw tis part of text added by you, the words "possible vandalism" were the first to appear in my mind :) Don't resent. Хаченци (talk) 04:00, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. That was my mistake. I just did not notice that some user added extremely POV worded text to this article. --Երևանցի talk 04:06, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

- I think the article should be re-edited since it contains a lot of material unrelated to the topic. Also, I think the thing about Turkic connection is not contained in the Armenian text that you reference. Zimmarod (talk) 15:40, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- I took a look at the source again. You were right, he doesn't say that the damping of those sounds took place during, but before the Turkic invasions.
- Sure, I'm open to any discussion. Yes, there are some off-topic sentences. I just reworded parts of the article. --Երևանցի talk 17:20, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Ok, let me take another look and I will be back with a rewrite suggestion. Zimmarod (talk) 01:29, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Suggestion
editI suggest History and Today form separate sections of the article text. Speling12345 (talk) 7:13, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I agree. Done. --Երևանցի talk 07:54, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
vowels ըէ ըի
edit@Yerevantsi: The hy wiki version and various online sources say that Karabakh has vowels ըէ ըի. Can you add that info here too? I can't personally tell though what these vowels are supposed to be because the sources say it's a "e-like"/"i-like" ə Hovsepig (talk) 18:23, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
