Questioning the sample sentence
editI am not familiar with Karko, but I have doubts about the authenticity of the sample sentence for the following reasons:
- "ni" - <copula> and "kitabu" - "book" are correct in Swahili, while
- "book" in Karko is "kit", according to Jakobi-Dimmendaal 2019
- The sentence contains open syllables only, which is characteristic for instance for Bantu and Ubangi languages, but not Nubian (see same article)
Would it be possible to verify the source of the sample or otherwise replace it with a legitimate example? Wichhold Petz (talk) 15:34, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
