editThis states that his date of death is unknown. This is a litle unclear; did he survive the war, but then vanish into relative obscurity? Or did he die or go missing in the war's closing days, thus no certain information can be ascertained owing to the confusion at the time? - The latest revision to the page as of now removed the category about his date of death being unknown and suggests that he is still living at the age of 102. While that is certainly possible, is there any corroboration on it? If true, it would have to make him one of the oldest living German WW2 veterans, and being the son of a Class A war criminal, it seems like it would have been noted somewhere.
