Tribute album

edit

I've seen it mentioned while reading through sources. Did this ever happen or was it cancelled? Sergecross73 msg me 18:21, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes it did happen. It is called December Songs - A Tribute to Katatonia and was released by Northern Silence Productions in 2006. 2A02:C7F:22E6:5500:D184:4053:FC1E:1821 (talk) 04:02, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Timeline

edit

I am against the recent tweaking to the timeline as shown here. It is less accurate. For example, it seems to suggest that Renkse has been drumming for 3 decades, when in reality, he hasn't drummed since the 1990s. The old version didn't have these issues. The old version is more consistent with how they're usually displayed too. Input? Sergecross73 msg me 17:40, 18 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Correction needed

"After working some with Norrman on the project, Renkse decided to revive Katatonia with Norrman as the new third member."

This is wrong and the citation does not even suggest this itself. Renkse never decided to revive the band by himself, it was agreed between Nystrom and Renkse both. During the "broken up" period of 1995, Nystrom continued doing interviews for Katatonia saying that the band had never broken up but that they had lost "the drummer" (Renkse). (See interview in Ancient Black Art fanzine issue #1, 1995.) 2A02:C7F:22E6:5500:D184:4053:FC1E:1821 (talk) 04:13, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
