J'aime Rubio added a new twist to the story with the inclusion of: "There has never been any evidence that tied Kate Morgan to the death of "Lottie Bernard" at the Hotel del Coronado...." This statement is factually incorrect.
The Los Angeles Times, December 15, 1892 THE CORONADO SUICIDE Her Identity as Kate Morgan fully Established Beyond a Doubt
Chief of Police J.B. Breuning of San Diego was in this city yesterday and visited Chief Glass, who has in his possession a photograph of Mrs. Kate Morgan, which was found among her effects at Contractor Grant's, when THE TIMES announced that Kate Morgan, Mr. Grant's missing servant girl, and the Coronado suicide were one and the same person. As soon as Chief Breuning caught sight of Mrs. Morgan's picture he remarked, "That is the woman beyond a doubt."
Ms. Rubio's addition to the section should be taken down; it only adds another unsubstantiated version of the story and reflects Ms. Rubio's OPINION. I have been accused of trying to "own" this page by another contributor who like Ms. Rubio, has only his preconceived notion of the truth, and has never posited a single verifiable fact to support his view.
My only intent has been, and is, to eradicate the story started by Alan May, and provide interested parties with the FACTS, so they may draw their own conclusions. All the other contributors here (including May) ignore those documents that don't support their imagined truth.
What's amusing is all these modern day "experts" think their truths are more true than a positive identification made by the police chief at the time. Not likely.
Thank you for your consideration.

"Lottie Bernard"
editI have just removed the following passage from the article, as it is unsourced aside from a lengthy quote and discusses someone who is not otherwise mentioned in the article.
There has never been any concrete evidence that conclusively tied Kate Morgan to the death of "Lottie Bernard" at the Hotel del Coronado, although several authors have attempted to do so. Kate Morgan's family or friends never came to identify the body, and the photo of Kate Morgan given by her employer did not look anything like the "Beautiful Stranger" that described the deceased. According to the Los Angeles Herald, dated December 9, 1892, it states that "cabinet size photograph of Mrs. Morgan, found among others, shows her to be a woman of about 28 years of age, black eyes, large ears, rather large open face and somewhat course features; her mouth is rather large and lips thick. The photograph contained no marks and had evidently been taken recently. The photograph does not denote the appearance of a woman accustomed to stopping at first-class hotels as a guest, or one who wears lace shawls; neither does it show her to be pretty, and the features certainly are not those of a highly educated woman."
The hotel that is being recognized for "Kate morgan" murder or suicide ? No one know 😬
editIt has come to my attention that a YouTuber (that is not going to be named) has made a YouTube video based on the Kate morgan story and he asked one of the lounge employees what he/she knows about Kate morgan and has he ever experienced anything and he/she said "yes I have and I was on the fourth floor and I got reaped up there I was moving fiscally but then I realized I wasn't actually moving I was moving but not moving so I walk but I was in the same place and it took me alot of tries to get out" and this proves that she still haunts that hotel to this day. R.I.P Kate morgan 1864 till 1892 hope she's rest in peace alothought it's been 1 hundred and something years since she died/murdered or committed suicide. This might not be true but it's what I've heard. Made in 2019 Brooke writer27 (talk) 19:06, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
So are you talking about Sam and Colby they're both really famous YouTubers and I understand why you wouldn't say their name but I think you could have said their name so that people can watch their videos I honestly like watching my videos I get jump scared every now and then but I really think that the mediums are telling the truth about everything they see or hear or talk to and they didn't only do a story on her they did a story on all of them all the ghosts that are in the hotel and that is why I think they're like really really good YouTubers and I believe that they are telling the truth about all of these ghosts. Kate Morgan also known as Kate Farmer
editSo some of us know if Sam and Colby they're both really good YouTubers and they did a video on her but it wasn't only on her they found other ghost entities not only did they have a medium there but mediums can see ghosts and talk to them but the medium that is here with them today is normally in their videos @AMANDAREAYE and she's only in most of the videos but know that she told Sam that he has an attachment since you don't really attachment and it's it's a ghost that stays with you if you don't really like Paranormal stuff that's okay that means you shouldn't be reading this but so they also found more Ghosts and More entities than just Kate Morgan but one of the real cool facts I think about is they said that she did not commit suicide the gun that she had was a different bullet than what was in her skull so more than likely her husband killed her or someone else did it for him but she bought the gun for self-defense it was not the bullet that was in the gun it was an entire different bullet Rylee4999 (talk) 21:01, 4 October 2022 (UTC)

editOnly the first of five paragraphs in the Sightings section actually makes reference to any ghost sightings. The other paragraphs describe books written on the subject. 2601:589:4A80:7590:AC75:7794:9D29:1F43 (talk) 20:09, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
