There is an image of a painting of her in this Nature article. As I understand it, if the painting was made during her lifetime, the content of the image that shows the painting itself would now be in the public domain in the United States as a photographic image of a public domain work. However, the other parts of the photograph, such as the picture frame, might not be. Does anyone know the date of the painting in the picture? -- The Anome (talk) 07:05, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
