As part of this proposal, the heading title "Stances" should also be changed to "Political views" or something similar.

"In her role as a county supervisor, Barger has co-authored bills furthering the county’s support for veterans and foster children.

Barger also co-authored motions to address homelessness in LA County, which notably includes a bill passed by the California State Assembly in May of 2018 amending the state’s definition of “gravely disabled”, and allowing more state-sponsored medical care to be provided to those who may be suffering from a serious mental illness.

Barger coauthored a motion creating the Blue Ribbon Commission on Public Safety, which was intended to explore the impact that Assembly Bill 109, California Proposition 47, and Proposition 57, which were collectively aimed at converting many nonviolent drug offenses into misdemeanors and allowing for the early release of some inmates, has had inside of Los Angeles County. The formation of the commission was a controversial reaction to the murder of police Officer Keith Boyer, and ultimately passed on a 3-0 vote with abstentions. The formation of the commission was controversial, with critics citing that many of the 27 members drafted to the commission were directly affected by Proposition 47, coming from roles within the county’s judicial system.

I've had eyes on this page for a while after I reverted the same IP blanking sections of this page with a negative view of the subject. Don't know why I didn't do this sooner because the edits to this page seem a little COI-ish, but I just did a geolocation of the IP and they are making edits from Los Angeles, CA and the ISP is Los Angeles County Internal Services. Given that the article subject works for Los Angeles County, I think there could be some COI editing going on. Will tag accordingly. Aspening (talk) 13:22, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Kathryn Barger

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kathryn Barger's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
