Peacock terms
editCurrently, the infobox heading for this article claims "NZs best Geothermal Field" and the content states "the world's premier geothermal field". This wording doesn't comply with Wikipedia policy, for example WP:PEACOCK. And what is "best" anyway? Does this mean largest, or most profitable, or most aesthetically pleasing, or something else? It would be better for the article to accurately state facts about this field, with supporting citations. --Pakaraki (talk) 18:26, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
Changing the name, deemed to be "moving" a page.
editRenaming this page to something like "Kawerau Geothermal Field" seems a better name, because there is not just one power station (the "Kawerau Power Station") as had originally been described alone. For that matter, the geothermal field also supplies process heat for various factories, not just steam for electric power generation. This change will affect the table entry in Geothermal_power_in_New_Zealand NickyMcLean (talk) 07:57, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
