- Article was newly created, is long enough, has sources throughout, agf on Afrikaans. Both hooks are in the article and supported by inline citations. QPQ is done. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:18, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Lefcentreright and Muboshgu: Earwig says "copyvio possible" with a 46.2% similarity with the TimesLIVE article. Could you please address this by revising the copy further, in your own words as much as possible? Cielquiparle (talk) 08:36, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Cielquiparle: Hi, I've made some changes and Earwig now says "Violation Unlikely". Lefcentreright Discuss 16:07, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Good catch @Cielquiparle:, I forgot to check close paraphrasing. Lefcentreright, 36.7% is still a bit high for my tastes. Can you change some of the duplicated phrases, like "as a factory hand at the age of 14", "was elected to the party's Durban committee", and "joined the Transvaal Indian Congress in organising the passive resistance campaign against residential segregation" (just adding a '1946' in there isn't enough)? – Muboshgu (talk) 15:29, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Muboshgu and Cielquiparle: OK, I have made some more changes and managed to get it down to 23.1%. Is that sufficient? Lefcentreright Discuss 16:16, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Much improved thanks. Cielquiparle (talk) 15:20, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
