Contradiction

edit

The article Kazimierz Kay-Skrzypeski reads:

"Australian downhill skier Ross Milne also suffered a fatal crash during the games."

The article Ross Milne reads:

"... during a practice run shortly before the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck..."

I am not sure which statement is correct. Can anyone help? --Edcolins (talk) 09:34, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

He didn't die in the event, he died in training. I don't know if it happened before or after the opening ceremony. Andjam (talk) 10:08, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
The contradiction relates to when Ross Milne died. During the games as mentioned in the article Kazimierz Kay-Skrzypeski or shortly before the games as mentioned in the article Ross Milne? I wonder. --Edcolins (talk) 16:52, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Dude, do the research and fix the sentence. Don't just tag the article and run... Pichpich (talk) 17:57, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well, it's better to tag contradictions than not. Solving them is another matter, which may take time. Anyway, it is now solved. The death happened before the Opening Ceremony. --Edcolins (talk) 19:26, 17 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
I was referring to Milne when I said "he". Andjam (talk) 21:38, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
