Dead Website
editThe official website is currently down. Is this project dead? Timbomb (talk) 00:43, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
- No, Kdenlive just migrated to KDE infrastructure and I would guess that the website just hasn't migrated yet. --KAMiKAZOW (talk) 01:37, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
- kdenlive.org is still not responding. Access forbidden. Error 403. Porthugh (talk) 21:20, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
- kdenlive.org is back online Porthugh (talk) 05:36, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
Developer takes break, project is fine
editJust wanted to note that despite November's news stories about the main developer "disappearing", and the project possibly "never" seeing another release, everything is actually fine. The main developer did stop committing code, but another developer spoke to him by phone[1] and confirmed that he's well, and that he's just taking a break. Development has picked up in December due to new contributors.
This isn't really worthy of a mention in the article but I wanted to leave a comment to hopefully prevent others from writing in the article that the project was halted or dead. Gronky (talk) 02:41, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
Kdenlive for Mac OS X
editI removed this page from Category:OS_X_multimedia_software, but for the time being left "Mac OS X" in the infobox description. The project makes its source code available and it can theoretically be compiled on OS X, but it offers no Mac version of the software. Any opinions on how to categorize this? ZackTheCardshark (talk) 18:31, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- I think you have it right, if there is no Mac package then it isn't Mac software even though someone could theoretically take the source code and compile one. - Ahunt (talk) 18:33, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've removed the references to macOS from the page. ZackTheCardshark (talk) 15:19, 21 March 2017 (UTC)

Photos out of date
editAll the photos in this article do not represent the latest version (19.08.03) This needs to change — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.25.78.66 (talk) 16:48, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
- Done - Ahunt (talk) 17:04, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
- Seems that all of the photos are still out of date. Are you using an old version of kdenlive?? TheMickyRosen-Left (talk) 19:59, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- I am using the current version from the Ubuntu repos for 19.10, which what that screenshot is: 19.08.2. There have been many Kdenlive releases in the last while. If you really think we need the latest release on the article page then someone will have to upload them with each release. Personally I think that a recent screenshot is good enough. We are WP:NOTCHANGELOG here, we're an encyclopedia. - Ahunt (talk) 20:45, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
