editThis is my second Wiki project. I've just gotten started and am working on filling in more biographical information and collection of works / ministry contributions. I am currently evaluating cites and sources for factual information of interest regarding notable contributions as an international Youth Minister. A number of biblical study papers for BVOV have been written by her as well as her hosting numerous daily and weekly BVOV television broadcasts for Kenneth Copeland Ministries. I'm going to spend the next few days checking out the free videopodcast listing of BVOV in iTunes to discover notable names / quotes / theology leanings and leads to guest websites of the people she hosted to see if they posted anything to cross reference back to my subject. Wish me well Wikipedians. This article needs a lot of bio work and formatting. CTS10866 01:54, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- I started by adding a couple of music-related categories. WAVY 10 14:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
"Kutz"?
editI do not think she is married anymore. She calls herself "Kellie Copeland" now and she does not wear her wedding ring. Tcrow777 talk 20:15, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ohh-kay! Any more info? WAVY 10 20:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Commander Kellie is a friend of mine and I do not wish to slander her, but this is an encyclopedia that needs up-to-date information. She was never called: "Commander Kellie, the fearless", but she is known as: "Commander Kellie". Tcrow777 talk 21:35, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Kellie Copeland and Win Kutz are no longer married. He has married someone else and lives in Southwest Fort Worth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.5.107.78 (talk) 19:55, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- I read on this website Wiki Answers that the couple separated in 2004 and later were divorced. Can this be confirmed? Gabriello talk 01:05, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'd keep that just in case, but I'm not exactly certain what else could be useable here. I'd look for some other sources to back it up, especially if it explains what happened. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 16:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Something to keep in mind is that we need to respect Kellie's privacy while still including encyclopedic information, we don't know all of what happened and it wouldn't be right to include "too much" detail, we should just find out when it happened and include only that it did happen and when it happened. Please ignore my previous comment. Tcrow777 Talk 09:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
She got Married Again last month. I added the information. She was married to Ward at least for a short while as reflected by her first album: Times of Refreshing (1983); first solo album (as Kellie Ward) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.248.165.3 (talk) 16:24, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Questions about her children's names
editWhy do two of her children, Rachel and Lyndsey have the name Ward and two of her children have the name Kutz? Wikipedia says nothing of a first marriage to someone named Ward, nor does it say anything about her current marital status, even though it is true that she goes by the name Copeland and not Win, and as recently as October 10, 2007 she was not observed wearing a wedding ring? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.91.159.178 (talk) 04:33, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'll admit that is a good question. I don't know what happened, though I remember the last time she used the last name "Kutz" was around 2003, but apparently some editors wanted to keep the article name as is until we find out what happened. As for the oldest girls (Rachel & Lyndsey), I do remember one incident following Lyndsey's being healed of spinal menigitis where (on an early 1996 BVOV broadcast, she was listed as Lyndsey Kutz; no doubt adding to confusion), as well as the fact Kellie was credited as Kellie Ward for the "Times of Refreshing". Boy, am I confused. WAVY 10 Fan 12:53, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Notability
editI don't have anything much to add, except that I'm from Australia and the feature-length movie "Armor Of Light," starring her, made it over here. Her broadcasts on television do as well. She's definitely notable in that there are things in the real world which point to her notability. Just thought I'd add that, as a webcomics reader who got a little worried about notability Nazis. ---Some Wikipedia Newb from Australia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.193.243.219 (talk) 15:47, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
In addition to her eight records and four children's films as Commander Kelli, Kelli Copeland's contribution to the Copeland Ministries' daily broadcast is substantial and important. This year, by explanation and personal example, Kelli Copeland has given me a much better understanding ... of the Holy Spirit's interaction with Christians, of God's wisdom (Proverbs 31) and of the importance of purity in finding God choice for one's mate. I can only speak for myself, but I value her contribution. Britt from Alabama, USA 71.91.34.226 (talk) 19:21, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

- Support. The WP:MOSBIO section about women and married names says "a woman should be called by the name she is most widely known under". She's not married at this time, so I'd default towards her unmarried name unless there's evidence she still uses her married name. Amazon does list works by "Kellie Copeland" that sound like her genre (interestingly, some with pub-date while she was still married). DMacks (talk) 22:22, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

A few discrepancies: According to the Tarrant County divorce records which you marked, the divorce from Allan Win Kutz occurred in February 2005, not February 2003. In text you said that she was born in 1965, at the end you said 1964 |
