Solo albums

Should we say "Solo albums"? She might only release the one. --Daniel C. Boyer 20:49, 13 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Hello there

Hmm im pretty sure shes going to release a proper second album / third depending on how you look at it.

Gay Icon Project

In my effort to merge the now-deleted list from the article Gay icon to the Gay icons category, I have added this page to the category. I engaged in this effort as a "human script", adding everyone from the list to the category, bypassing the fact-checking stage. That is what I am relying on you to do. Please check the article Gay icon and make a judgment as to whether this person or group fits the category. By distributing this task from the regular editors of one article to the regular editors of several articles, I believe that the task of fact-checking this information can be expedited. Thank you very much. Philwelch 21:49, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Weight loss

Seem the recent weight loss should be discussed especially with her admission it was due to a thyroid problem and her reluctance to be treated for it... Nil Einne 13:19, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

CONTRADICTIONS

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this quote from the article contradicts itself:
"Her debut album, Shut Up!, was released in 2002 to moderate sales, fueled mostly by a cover version of the hit Madonna song Papa Don't Preach, which was debuted with Houston rock band Pure Rubbish at the 2002 MTV Movie Awards. Osbourne's 2002 Epic debut, "Shut Up", debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The album was met with bad critical reviews and Shut Up! failed to spark much interest"

As does this one: "Osbourne made her debut as an actress with a starring role on October 7, 2004 on the ABC high school teen drama Life As We Know It, where she played the supporting role of Deborah Beatrice Tynan."

So did the album do well or not? Also, was she in a starring role or a supporting role? Chipstick 21:47, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

HIV accusation

I am no sure whether this should be included, or where it is most fitting: Singer Sobs Over Disease, so anyone more into the Osbourne family should probably consider this. Coq Rouge 14:24, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

picture

Can we PLEASE get a picture of Kelly? I LOVE her and want to see her beautiful face when I check out her article. 4.245.45.20 16:21, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Turning Japanese

Osbourne has a show, Kelly Osbourne: Turning Japanese, and it has no mention in this article. I think it's definitely something for the article.DarshaAssant 05:44, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Osbournes TV show

It seems that "The Osbournes" TV show is too briefly skipped over here, since that is the main reason for her fame and sustains her continuing career. Kelly is first and foremost known as a reality TV star, not as a singer or actress. Most of those who have heard of her have never seen her singing or acting.

Sign your posts by typing ~ four times in future please. Your point is debatable. There are plenty of people who identify Osbourne by her music, in particular One Word, which was quite a hit in clubs. Pazuzu567 16:13, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
But even so, one would have to ask whether she would have had an album and whether One Word would have been as successful were it not for her earlier career. (Even more so since it appears One Word may have been plagarised one would have to ask whether she would have had as much luck developing it and coming to an agreement with Visage were it not for her pre-existing fame). Also, I guess a different question is how many people know about her from the reality TV but have heard little about her as a singer/actress and how many people know about her as a singer/actress but have heard little about her reality TV star days? Nil Einne 13:18, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
I would imagine that most people would recognise Kelly more as the daughter of Ozzy, than anything else. Trumpy (talk) 12:09, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Education

How about an education sections? On the Dr. Phil show Ms. Osbourne sounds more intelligent than a HS dropout. 98.165.156.226 06:02, 21 April 2010

If you can supply reliable, verifiable sources per WP:V, WP:NOR, and WP:RS, sure. And make sure you sign your posts. You can do this by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of them. Nightscream (talk) 20:22, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

This reads more like a press release than an encylopedia article.

"Fashion-conscious Osbourne is part of a crop of young performers in the early 2000s who have revitalized the soft-core punk scene. Their combination of pseudo-punk outfits with an anti-authoritarian attitude (similar to Cyndi Lauper's persona in the 1980s) seems to reflect a movement out of the popularity of strictly pop music into an interest in rock and roll."

This does not conform to the neutral point of view policy, nor is it cited. There are other problems with the article, but the quote above is the most glaring. At this point, it might make sense to scrap the entire article and start over with something that's more encylopedic, and more importantly, cited.--Irongaard 16:18, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

I fixed several such errors in the Dancing with the Stars section. That section needs a great deal more work but I don't remember the episode well enough to make the corrections with any sense of authority. --Kitsunegami (talk) 14:34, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Nationality

Can we please stop changing her nationality to English. She isn't. She is of British decent, absolutely. She was born in the UK, fair enough. But when she grew up in America, was educated in America, speaks with an American accent AND holds American citizenship then she is clearly American.

She may choose to call herself English, just like I may choose to call myself a Martian. It doesn't make it factually correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.73.118.78 (talk) 16:16, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

As far as I'm concerned you're more than welcome to her. However she was UK-born to British parents, which makes her a UK citizen, regardless of any other citizenships she may have obtained subsequently. 94.194.15.94 (talk) 23:18, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
