Was he awarded a Distinguished Service Medal? Surely as an officer he wasn't eligible, it wasn't gazetted http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/ and isn't listed in the Australian "Its an honour" database. Billingd (talk) 10:51, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dud major source?

Seventeen citations in this article are sourced to National Library of Australia: Kenneth Baillieu Myer, An Appreciation, which turns out to be a dead link. This search makes it seem the source is hardly an authoritative one. I'll mark it for now, but this must warrant a fair bit of deletion if the citations are not validated.
