editDidn't Sugimori also work on those? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.180.123.58 (talk) 03:40, 1 May 2007 (UTC).
Sugimori Image from Pokemon.com
editI don't know how to get fair use things or whatever, but just thought I would note Pokemon.com has an image of Sugimori on it. http://www.pokemon-games.com/portal/_img/news_sugimori.jpg Balladofwindfishes 01:24, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Explination
editShould there be some explanation on the psyducks ponyta thing, and how one was a blue exclusive and one was a red exclusive. I mean, it took me a while to even realize what was being said about that.Yagikaru (talk) 19:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Death
editI caught wind that Sugimori died recently in a car crash involving a hired cab and a drunk driver. Does anyone have any reliable sources of this? 129.252.209.83 (talk) 15:53, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Where did you "catch wind" of this? It's most likely a lie. Blake (Talk·Edits) 17:45, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- When I search to find a source for this, I see discussion on the bulbagarden forums, but that's it. Thus far, there is not coverage in any reliable sources to support this, and until there is, we must treat it as nothing but rumor. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 17:51, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Promotion?
editNot necessarily sure about how to do this since I'm new to helping out with projects, etc. But shouldn't this be at least a "start" level article? It seems very in-depth for a stub, and cites several relevant pieces of information. Webinator14 20:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- It could probably pass for a start. Feel free to promote it. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 23:00, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
"with the exception of Mew"
editThe source for this ([3]) states that he drew all 151 Pokemon, which would include Mew. So either the source is wrong or the statement — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.178.204.51 (talk) 11:59, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
- The statement was incorrect. The original games credit 6 different artists for "monster designs" but Sugimori was the Lead artist and finalized all character and monster designs. (Perhaps important to know that he was the co-creator of Game Freaks as a development company, alongside Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri)
