After I remembedreverted the redirect to Kenny Rogers, as he doesn't have anything to do with the chain any more, and there was no information on the chain there, I've made a number of other changes. If there's something wrong with this, please don't hesitate to edit.

Primary source is http://www.nathansfamous.com/rogers/inside/htmls/history.php , although some of it is from personal recollection. The site navigation is so bad that I can't find any locations on http://www.nathansfamous.com/rogers other than one in California -- hence the "claimed". Reverted probable copyvio from tv.com. The appropriate copyright notice is at http://www.cnetnetworks.com/editorial/copyright.html . Arthur Rubin | (talk) 04:40, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

What?

According to this page, there is one US Kenny Rogers Roasters left, and it's in Ontario. I wikified Ontario so someone could read up on it if they want. Here's a hint: look at where Ontario is. 204.69.40.13 13:22, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, I've been to Ontario, California, and I can't find it, but that's WP:OR. I do appreciation the wikification, though. — Arthur Rubin | (talk) 14:24, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

"one US Kenny Rogers Roasters left, and it's in Ontario" Don't let the Canadians see that! 137.43.193.117 (talk) 15:28, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

There is a Kenny Roger's Roasters on Highland Ave in LA near Hollywood, it's been there a long time and still in business, Los Angeles was in the USA last time I checked —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.174.242 (talk) 20:11, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

"The Chicken Roaster"

edit

Why isn't there a reference to the show Seinfeld.Which there was an episode called "The Chicken Roaster" that aired on Nov.,14 1996. There should always be a seinfeld reference! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.98.172.177 (talkcontribs) 01:17, 8 August 2009

Kenny Rogers Spit Roast Chicken

edit

At one point there was a variance of the name. There were franchises in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994 going by the name Kenny Rogers` Spit Roast Chicken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.241.192.94 (talk) 09:32, 19 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Unclear

" Brown expanded it[clarification needed] to a chain of more than 425 restaurants before selling his interest in the franchise to the Malaysia-based Berjaya Group in 1996."

Does "it" refer to Cluckers, Roasters, or the entire company?22:58, 18 April 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.18.173.40 (talk)

Bread bowls

edit

One unique feature I remember from Kenny Rogers Roasters in the USA was their chicken pot pie served inside a bowl made of crusty homemade bread. It was a heaven for carbohydrate eaters and a special treat for me and my girl friend every Sunday morning. 98.2.238.89 (talk) 12:19, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
