Flare star?
editIs this a known flare star? That becomes a viable article sub-topic (with proper citations) since the system now appears to have an earth-sized planet in it's habitable zone. 2602:306:BDA0:97A0:466D:57FF:FE90:AC45 (talk) 01:21, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- The only ref I saw about it being variable doesn't classify it as a flare star. --Smkolins (talk) 21:48, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
predictions of other planets
edit• [1], look for KOI-571. --Smkolins (talk) 16:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- I'll note though this paper was printed many months ago it has the fifth planet not hypothetical…. Interesting….--Smkolins (talk) 16:28, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
look for listing in other searches
edit- NRAO's closest scan appears to be for WR140.(search RA/Dec at http://images.nrao.edu/utility/detsearch.php] and get [2] --Smkolins (talk) 11:28, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- HST appears to have never taken a picture of the area searching at [3] --Smkolins (talk) 11:50, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- maybe someone can have better luck making sense of [4] than me. It's just odd. --Smkolins (talk) 12:15, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

- I believe this is a centered view on the star - [6] --Smkolins (talk) 16:41, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- I believe this is a way of queing up some views - [7] (under "Images" there are several options. A variable type "Draconis" "BY" type just shows rotation affects (sunspots) is listed. --Smkolins (talk) 17:15, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
The other planets
editAre there any estimates on the equilibrium temperature of day and night side of the inner planets? --Artman40 (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Also, should there be a size comparison chart for planets residing in this system? --Artman40 (talk) 13:53, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Star - description
editI am rather confused by this opening sentence under the section "Star": "A number of previously unknown measurements of the star are known." If someone knows what the original author was attempting to relate, coould they re-write it? Perry Middlemiss (talk) 22:30, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
