Talk:Kepler-235e

Notability

edit

The article is nothing more than a draft and the subject (Kepler-235e) does not have enough notability to have a standalone article. It would be better to merge this article into "List of exoplanets discovered by the Kepler space telescope: 1–500", because almost all the information in this article can be found. Normally articles like this are merged into the parent star page (Kepler-235), but this page is already a redirect to List of multiplanetary systems. Merger proposal

edit

As already mentioned in another topic, the planet is not notable enough to have its own article. It is just a mini-Neptune, discovered by the Kepler telescope in 2014. It has only two sources, which are exoplanet catalogs (NASA Exoplanet Archive and exoplanet.eu).

So, this page could be redirected to List of exoplanets discovered in 2014, because all the information from this article (mass, orbit, star information) is already there. InTheAstronomy32 (talk) 01:04, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yeah redirecting looks like the best choice for now unless there's an article about Kepler-235 comes along. Dr vulpes (Talk) 19:26, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
