First resident
editJohn Patterson was the first resident of Van Buren twp? Should this be Robert Patterson?
Greene County?
editWhat part of Kettering, specifically is in Greene County? Also, the red dot on the state map is mislocated. Kettering is NOT in Greene County by any stretch of the imagination.
I agree. I have been a kettering resident my entire life. The only area wher it is even close is on Stroop when it turns into County Line (hence the name County Line) and on E. Dorothy Lane. I can probably provide a map to support this. Please have this information either verified or removed. THNX.Ioah06 15:43, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
See this map for confirmation of Kettering's annexation into Greene County (http://www.ketteringoh.org/newweb/pdfs/engineering/2007STREETDIRECTORY_WEB.pdf) Ptomharner (talk) 15:48, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Per a recent edit removing Greene County from this article, I've consulted the current Kettering street map (http://www.ketteringoh.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/City-Map-Council-Districts-1-9-13.pdf) and doublechecked against Greene County property search (http://apps.co.greene.oh.us/auditor/ureca/default.aspx). Those taken together show that the area around the northern part of Walden Way, as well as areas around Swigert/Swigart Road, are within Kettering, and are also part of Greene County. Will edit accordingly. --Chaswmsday (talk) 17:56, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Residents
editI removed 2 athletes from the list: Mike Schmidt and A.J. Hawk. Hawk is from nearby Centerville; Schmidt from Dayton. The city of Kettering has a fairly large hospital - it's possible that people birthed at the facility got 'Kettering' stuck to their name, but that doesn't mean they have any other relationship to the city.Ptomharner (talk) 16:01, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Complaints
editAs usual there is nothing obvious about that they live there and the population lives in Dayton. After the city was considering an initial promise of casual apartments for rent, they got into what made the area more appropriate than before. As well as all the city has been for another time when the apartments have been filled. Borders Belmont and Moraine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:301:7751:160:DC47:B46:8B01:D10D (talk) 19:57, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
