SEE SIMILAR ARTICLES
editIf you're going to create and/or update an article, please see similar articles to learn how to do this so someone else doesn't have to come in later and spend a lot of time cleaning it up. It's really not that difficult - assuming you're not some sleazy political hack who has a totally different agenda than creating an article for an encyclopedia. - Six months later it's still apparent no 'contributor' could be bothered to read the actual project guidelines: Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Congress/Members#Current elections. So much for kansas. Which I didn't capitalize because the 'contributors' here didn't capitalize 'congress'. Very odd, as Americans always capitalize that word when used in this way. Which means.... Traffic Stop
edit- Traffic stop is not important; it was a minor offense that in no way is relevant to Mr. Yoder's biography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.177.221.163 (talk) 03:39, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking the discussion here instead of section blanking again. Personally, I don't think the traffic stop deserves such a large mention (see Wikipedia:UNDUE), but I think it's worth a brief mention given the amount of media coverage it received. Perhaps the traffic stop information can be pared down and the article enhanced with more information about Yoder's history and positions, which would make this a more useful article for everyone? Congressional Trip to Israel Scandal
editCan someone please explain in the article to the people outside the USA of the nature of that scandal? What did he do wrong? LaHaine (talk) 10:23, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Continental Europeans have a more relaxed attitude about public nudity than is seen in the USA. Marokwitz (talk) 12:40, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I removed some non notable material. Was this really a scandal or more bone headed move or both? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.97.18.207 (talk) 12:44, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

News Link
editHere are some links I found but they dont fit in conglinks :
birth place
editIt says Kevin was born in Detroit K's and also Hutchinson K's. Detroit ks is west of abiline which is not near Hutchinson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.147.104.27 (talk) 02:13, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Awards
editThe Awards and Recognition section in here is way too long, and most of the awards are neither cited nor notable. Unless somebody can make a case for keeping, I'm going to pare this down quite a bit. Arbor8 (talk) 16:39, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Kevin Yoder
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kevin Yoder's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Recent changes
editIP editor @2600:1700:18B1:1150:7CD3:3BB6:4243:D8F1:, please discuss any further changes you wish to make to this article here. Your recent changes have been a mixture of policy-compliant and non-policy-compliant so I'm sure it would be best if we could help create a better article without further back-and-forth. Thank you. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:44, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- This does seem to be getting a little too detailed. I'm not convinced we need a section about his position on every issue. Niteshift36 (talk) 16:48, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
K-10
editYes, K-10 is an expressway, but that terminology is not used in our part of the country. Freeway would probably be a better choice of words — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:18B0:7390:38B1:7B30:C79D:2CA3 (talk) 04:59, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
