Article life
editTriggered by recent events in Ukraine, I intended to write "Shale gas in Ukraine", started googling, and stumbled upon the name Хальмер-Ю. This triggered my memories from long past, early 1960s, where was a period of glorification of the deeds of Komsomol, among which was a propaganda myth of Komsomol volunteers, which, allegedly, along with Baikal-Amur Mainline, developed Vorkuta coal mining. And Khalmer-Yu was part of this legend: as claimed, it was start of Vorkuta coal. So I started collecting bits and pieces, and got sidetracked even way further North from Ukraine :-) Each time this happens with me I chuckle over stupidity of people who panicked that there was close to no more articles to add into wikipedia. -No.Altenmann >t 18:57, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
