How wide spreaded is Halveti Tarik (pir)in Ballkans region? What informations can give us wikipedia about this matter?
The Khalwati order was farily widespread in the Balkans during Ottoman times with several important Khalwati Sheikhs being of Balkan origen. Southern Greece seems to have had Jerrahi Tekkes and by the time of Sultan Abdul-Hamid the second there seems to have been a fair representation of the Khalwati order in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Greece and Kosova.
Sadly, there is very little information in the English language with regards to the Khalwati order in the Balkans. The book Mulsim Brotherhoods in the Sudan gives some history of the Khalwati order in that country and there are several books concerning its spread into West Africa (Usuman dan Fodio whas initiated into the Khalwati order along with the Naqshbandi and Qadiri orders he was though, first and foremost a Qadiri Sheikh.
fiend or friend?

- I left myself, and lo, no fiend was left for me"
Is fiend a typo for friend? ϢereSpielChequers 12:32, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
