Nickname

the nickname listed "Khaos of the ox figher" doesn't match any provided source. Should be changed to "Khaos the Oxfighter" or "Khaos the Ox Fighter" There is no "of" in his nickname. [1] [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaelbrouillette (talkcontribs) 15:50, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Page name

edit

Should the page name be changed to Kalinn Williams as it is his real name? The UFC[3] URL displays him as Kalinn, also Sherdog bills him as Kalinn Williams.[4] When he replaced Dhiego Lima in his promotional debut in the UFC, he was also billed as Kalinn in the news.[5] Ticelon (talk) 20:23, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

HeinzMaster Ya I see what you mean, I guess this is like a Tito Ortiz type scenario where the nickname becomes how most people see him. I suppose we change it to Kalinn and then see how they announce him for this event and the future ones. Pretty sure for his last fight it was Khaos. @HeinzMaster and Ticelon: Hi, I was asked to comment by Heinz on my talk page - see here. The article name is based on "commonly recognizable name" as per WP:COMMONNAME guidelines, such as professional wrestler CM Punk, whose real name is Phillip Jack Brooks, Roman emperor Caligula whose name is Gaius Caesar or a special way of addressing a subject such as Alexander the Great and not "just Alexander" or "Alexander III of Macedon". We would see which name Khoas/Kalinn is most commonly used by media/source and determine that prior the subject is notable and redirect the other name to the article. Stay safe and best. I came here with the same question. Throughout the UFC 288 broadcast he was called exclusively "Khaos." The name "Kalinn" was never spoken by the commentators or Bruce Buffer, and never appeared in the on-screen graphics. Straight "Khaos." FWIW. Kane5187 (talk) 01:04, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
