Morris writes about the new Israeli settlement on village land, however, somehow he has completely missed just how it became depopulated. I.e. it is not mentioned in User:Huldra/Morris-list, just in User:Huldra/Morris2-list! Huldra (talk) 23:28, 22 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Tal shahar and the village.

edit

As a resident if modern day Tal shahar, and as anyone with a map could safely say, that the statement, as mentioned in the page - "In 1948, Beyt Pe'er was founded on village land, it later changed its name into Tal Shahar." - is simply not true. A. Unlike many villages, not a single home was taken or settled in. B. Tal shahar lies to the west of the former village, so the only lands that were taken were agricultural in nature. C. There was no continuity between the two villages, as implied above. D. Tal shahar was never named khirbet beyt far. Hebrew Wikipedia.
