Movie Info
editIs info on the movie spoiler for the comic book?--Brown Shoes22 (talk) 05:40, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Apparently so - they are clearly casting based on currently unpublished stories and characters. Not much we can do about it though. (Emperor (talk) 03:08, 26 August 2008 (UTC))
- Make a new article for the Movie!?--Brown Shoes22 (talk) 03:10, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- It is still in pre-production - it'd get deleted pretty quickly I suspect. (Emperor (talk) 03:31, 26 August 2008 (UTC))
- Once they've commenced filming we can make a new article. Until then it'll have to be a section of this article. Planewalker Dave (talk) 16:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Indeed. It might be worth someone sandboxing what we know on the film, so when it does start filming we can move something solid into place and then we can tidy things up here. (Emperor (talk) 16:30, 26 August 2008 (UTC))
- Well, it looks as though the movie has started shooting. Did anyone start work on a movie page? Planewalker Dave (talk) 16:50, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
MySpace
editI see the MySpace link was removed. WP:ELNO is only a guideline so it doesn't mean we have to remove "every" link, and it says "normally to be avoided" and "Except for a link to an official page of the article subject." Given that the characters MySpace account is the article subjects official page and it is part of the story I think it is important that it is kept in. It might be worth footnoting it from the mention of the MySpace account but either way it is clearly an exception to the guideline. (Emperor (talk) 12:45, 7 September 2008 (UTC))

Ambush Bug
editDoesn't Kick-Ass' costume look like Ambush Bug's green costume? -Golem866 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:22, 2 March 2010 (UTC).
Srange wording
editThe Line stating: "he catches his father with Eddie Lomas' ex-girlfriend Lucille" Doesn't make any sense. Eddie Lomas was never mentioned anywhere in the article. Who is he? Is he important to the story, or is he just a background character? Herogamer (talk) 16:58, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Spoiler free: He's not important, he appears in #3 for a short while, but he exists mostly just to introduce Hit-Girl.
- With spoilers: Kick-Ass's Myspace page gets a message from Lucille, to quote the comic itself, "His ex has been in touch about some crank calls he'd been making, and asked if I could maybe have a talk to him." Lomas turns threatening, Hit-Girl appears and slaughters everyone in the room other than the two of them, before escaping across the roof. --80.192.210.116 (talk) 12:07, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
the Synopsis/Plot summary mentions Lucille like as if you should already know who she is. this needed to be corrected and made a quick fix. perhaps removing the mention of her would be simpler. if the article had a section explaining characters it might be a better way to explain who is who without cluttering up the summary. -- Horkana (talk) 01:05, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Ongoing?
editThe articles says that the series is still on going and dates it 2008-Present. Are there any sources that can support that there is an actual continuation in the making, because frankly the series seems pretty much wrapped up and finished at this point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.170.144.110 (talk) 14:28, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

--188.220.172.141 (talk) 19:26, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- The Sequel section seems to state a release date for Aug 4th, but there's not citation backing it up, google only pulls up internet rumors, & amazon doesn't have a preorder available.96.3.139.41 (talk) 03:38, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Found citation, release date changed to August 11th, sorry I'm too lazy to sign in 96.3.139.41 (talk) 03:51, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Characters
editThe characters section is very redundant. Lots of information that just appeared in the plot. Lots42 (talk) 07:04, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't want to remove the section, I added it but it was a bit too minimal. Then another editor expanded it and it is a bit bulky and redundant as you say. It would be great if you wanted to clean it up and remove some of the redundancy, make it so the Plot section does not need to be too long, but also so that the Character section gives a bit more background but doesn't give away too much plot. A better balance could be achieved I think but it is nice to be able to read a little about who the characters are without needing to read the plot. -- Horkana (talk) 16:40, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- I added a bunch of citation needed tags for the characters section. There are comments that appear to be opinions by someone but it's not clear who the author is. If it is from a critic or comic book reviewer, than it needs citation; if it's just a wikipedia editor interpreting, then remove it. As for plot in the character section, it should just briefly demonstrate the context and significance of the character in the story. If Dave's father is not significant, he can be removed from the main list. -AngusWOOF (talk) 18:48, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Requested move
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: move the page to Kick-Ass (comic book), per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 06:23, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Kick-Ass (comics) → Kick-Ass (comic book) – This article's title should be changed per similar consensus formed on Talk:Wolverine (character)#Page move back discussion, again, Talk:Hit-Girl (both move requests), and the current wording of WP:NCC. The "(comics)" disambiguator is ambiguous, and could refer to the subject of this article or Kick-Ass (character). For this reasoning, the current title with the "(comics)" disambiguator should be a redirect towards Kick-Ass (a disambiguation page) due to the ambiguity of the disambiguator. Steel1943 (talk) 22:15, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- Support per nom, there being "Kick-Ass" limited series 1, Kick-Ass issue 1 of series 1, Kick-Ass multi-series comic, Kick-Ass fictional universe, Kick-Ass character. suggest Kick-Ass (2008 comic book), and someone should write an article on the multi-series comic (and split such material off this article), and another for the fictional universe. -- 65.94.171.225 (talk) 03:51, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Big Daddy
editDoes anyone think a separate article on the character Big Daddy is justified? I'm undecided on this. I kind of go back and forth. Gringo300 (talk) 22:08, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
