  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
"...wrote the song for The Animals, but lead singer Eric Burdon turned it down." Think it would be better if you were to put "the band's lead singer" here.
"The result was "Kicks," a song originally offered to the Animals, but Eric Burdon turned it down." Consider rewording to "a song originally offered to the Animals, but turned down by lead singer Eric Burdon".
"Within two months of its release, the single sold 500,000 copies." Should probably say "had sold"
"causing a perception by members of the burgeoning youth counterculture" Don't like "causing a perception" here.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
There don't appear to be cites for some of the cover versions in the "Other versions" section.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
A tracklisting for the live single might be nice.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Very good article, shouldn't be too much work to get up to standard. Cavie78 (talk) 22:52, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
All issues addressed, I believe. Regarding the 1982 live single tracklisting, I learned of the single's apparent existence by viewing the Singles Discography at Paul Revere's official site, but as I can find no other verifiable sources, I removed both references to the single.
