The result of the move request was: Moved to Killing of Lyle and Marie McCann. (closed by non-admin page mover) The Night Watch (talk) 00:19, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
Murders of Lyle and Marie McCann → Killings of Lyle and Marie McCann – Per WP:DEATHS. Travis Vader's murder conviction was overturned, and he was ultimately convicted of manslaughter. 162 etc. (talk) 22:14, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support since it was a manslaughter conviction. (I also considered whether it perhaps should be "Killing of...", but ended up with no clear opinion on that. For instance, the sentencing document found in https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/travis-vader-sentenced-to-life-in-prison-1.3256442 calls it the "Killing of Lyle and Marie McCann" and it also calls it "killings".) - Support, but I would go with Killing of Lyle and Marie McCann. The plural suggests separate crimes committed at different times. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:29, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- Support per WP:DEATHS. I also prefer the singular phrasing Killing of Lyle and Marie McCann, for the same reasons as laid out by Necrothesp. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 18:10, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
