Birth

edit

Here it says that Killua is born the seven'th of july, but thats not true. In episode 43 after 15 minutes and 55 seconds Killua himself says that his birthday is the fifteen'th of june. Could anyone please correct this? dryh -Undated

Yo-Yo symbol

edit

Does anybody know why Killua's yo-yos have a magen david on them (star of David in English)? -Unsigned

Kanmuru

edit

On the Japanese Wikipedia page, the effects of Killua's Kanmuru are apparently listed. Did Togashi put out another guidebook or something? According to it, he fires electrical signals to certain parts of his body to rapidly enhance his reflexes and velocity. Should we add it in, or is it just speculation stated as fact? --Mr. Toto 04:57, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

&Gon

edit

When pressed by Illumi to say what he really wanted to be, Killua said: Gon's friend. Eventually, he got his wish. Killua and Gon became inseparable best friends, traveling companions and training partners. Erudil 20:14, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Yo-Yos

edit

Did Killua actually buy those Yo-Yos or did he work on his materialization nen to produce them since he has 80% proficiency at it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.163.11.22 (talk) 22:01, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

They're real yoyos. He makes a comment about the metal they're made of the first time he uses them. Zyrxil 00:22, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ability names

edit

Can someone find the chapters in which Killua's nen ability names are actually shown? I want to type in the full names, but I don't remember them being presented as "straight-forwardly" as other nen abilities. -Zyrxil (talk) 07:34, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Someone should also add the "Dark Step" or "Rotating Bodies" ability that he uses a lot. The one where he makes multiple images of himself. Tsukiyume1209 (talk) 15:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Birthday changed

edit

I changed killua's birthday ^_^ you are right his birthday is june 15th the manga and anime said that =D —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dejiko-tan (talkcontribs) 21:17, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Official Guide lists his birthday as June 7th, and his age as 12. If you want to argue different, find the manga page and/or anime episode that says it's June 15th, and you can add that as a conflicting entry with reference. Seriously, does no one read the reference I leave next to the thing to show I didn't just make it up? This is like the 10th time an anonymous editor has changed it. -Zyrxil (talk) 15:12, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well I saw july 7th instead of june 7th so I changed it...also about his age it should 12-13 because he does eventually turn 13...12 is not his official age ^_^ so if you were wondering why I changed it that is why.Dejiko-tan (talk) 18:39, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Argh, made a mistake changing it back, it should be July 7th, didn't realize they changed the month too. Anyway, someone keeps changing it to June 15th, ignoring the references. -Zyrxil (talk) 03:24, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Please stop changing the birthday. If you think it's June 15th, prove it. Show where the manga/anime says it. -Zyrxil (talk) 23:26, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually, during the time when Gon+Killua were training with Wing, Killua said that yes, he wanted to fight so and so because it was his birthday, but later Gon asks him and he said that he was joking..so theres your kind of proof. I think that his actual bday is July 7th. :) GellyPower (talk) 01:58, 18 September 2008 (UTC)KilluaFANNN =DReply

Etymology

edit

Is there any official information on how the name Killua was thought up? There are some obvious comparisons with his abilities here. 'Kill' since he's an assassin' (kill-u-a?) as well as kilowatt along the lines of the ongoing themes of electricity and being electrocuted. Would this be worth listing in trivia, or would we need some kind of official source from the authors? Tyciol (talk) 22:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

We would need an actual cited source. Though, Killua's name comes from a combination of the English word "kill," and the Swahili word for kill--"ua." Also, if you look at the HxH world map, Kukuroo mountain is located on a continent aesthetically the same as a rotated Africa. -Mr. Toto (talk) 16:24, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
