Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (I felt it was adding to the richness of Scottish art, rather than merely promoting a business. Today's art world suffers from lack of specialist journalists, over-powerful state approved artists and galleries, so galleries like Kilmorack Gallery are more important than ever, but are still not well understood. I thought a Kilmorack Gallery page was a balancing act. There are other large private galleries (CASS sculpture garden, Halcyon Gallery etc) on wiki. --Kilmorack1786 (talk) 17:05, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted because it is an important and vital hub for Scottish art by living artists. It benefits the art community of Scotland.
Galleries that support living artists are few and far between in today's climate of mega-art fairs. Kilmorack Gallery is a nationally recognised and respected venue that has fostered British artist and sculptor talent for 18 years. There is no art criticism in the UK anymore, so Wiki is one of the few public spaces where the fine work of artists and galleries can be more widely appreciated.
Thank you!
