Name change

edit

Notification has been given that the Prince's Trust, will be renamed to the King's Trust. These changes have yet to take effect, so I am not moving the page until they do so. However, attached is a reference which details the name change.[1] Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 15:06, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Royal website is already referring to the charity as the King's Trust and I believe we should move it now. https://www.royal.uk/news-and-activity/2023-11-10/charities-founded-by-his-majesty-the-king-as-the-prince-of-wales iComputerSaysNo 17:08, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think we are there, and we can change all the mentions in the article to its new name. We now have outside mentions as well: https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/charles-youth-charity-princes-trust-becomes-kings-trust-2023-11-10/ Rubberdoorpost (talk) 09:24, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

@The joy of all things: I can find no evidence of this article. I’ve done Google searches, and I’ve searched The Times itself. I cannot find this article. Can a link please be provided? Thanks! SpikeToronto 14:38, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

The Prince's TrustPrince's Trust – per WP:THE, and in accordance with a similar RM where users expressed a desire to have the definite article removed. Note that the organisation's logo (shown on the official website) does not include the definite article either. Keivan.fTalk 23:57, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
