Title
edita source would be nice that the this is the official English title.... Because viki.com, which has a licence from SBS to stream this series, lists it under Queen of Ambition. [1] 小龙 (Timish) # xiǎolóng de xìnxiāng 22:52, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- The title is definitely Queen of Ambition. It also doesn't make sense to make it 'King...' since besides the fact that viki and DramaFever have licenses from SBS it is widely (pretty much only) known under the name 'Queen of Ambition'. I have seriously not met one person who referred to the show as King of Ambition. Jwt987 (talk) 19:31, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- The most definitive source is the broadcaster itself, SBS/SBS Global [2]. Several credible English-language sources (not blogs) refer to it as "King of Ambition": Korea JoongAng Daily [3] [4]; The Chosun Ilbo [5]; StarN News [6]; Innolife [7]. As for licensing, One TV Asia also uses "King" instead of "Queen": [8]. But ultimately, it's the broadcaster that designates the official international/English title (sometimes different from the literal translation of the Korean title), and according to SBS Global, it's "King of Ambition." - It's not known as that. Seohyun's name is Joohyun, but I don't see her wiki page as that. The point of this wiki page is for people who want to find the show, and it is known nowhere as King of Ambition. Jwt987 (talk) 22:31, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
- The naming of article must follow the Wikipedia:Naming conventions content guideline and decided by Wikipedia:Consensus per WP:COMMONNAME. It is not based on personal preference and "is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors. Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it" per WP:VERIFY. The official English title used by SBS is "King of Ambition", as well as other sources. I am not sure if the aim of Wiki "is for people who want to find the show" but it does that in practise as an encyclopedia. Even for those who knows it as "Queen of Ambition", that name is a redirect, so it is not as if they will not find it. Please do not unilaterally change it without support by third party reliable sources per WP:RS. Thank you.--Michaela den (talk) 11:58, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
- I still think it should be "Queen of Ambition". It's also used that way in news articles. (Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names)). Jwt987 (talk) 18:25, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
