Remove desinformation
editThe article said:
- "The title also was a continuation of the independent early medieval kingdom of the Geats."
I mercilessly slayed this desinformation. Now the fact is this: the medieval ages started and ended at different times in different parts of Europe. There might have been a few independent geatish kingdoms in Sweden before c:a 700. But in Sweden that is before medieval ages. In sequence:
- Roman iron age c:a 0-500 (?),
- Migration age 500-700,
- Vendel time 700-800,
- Viking age 800-1100,
- Early medieval age 1100-1400 (?), the consolidation of Sweden from the loose confederation and tripple-kingdom of Swear Sweden, East Geatland and West Geatland.

- The Castilian and Spanish kings also claimed to be Gothic monarchs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.85.148.202 (talk) 11:08, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
