Flag
editThe "Flags of the world" vexillological website reports a different flag for Lombardy-Venetia. ( http://www.fotw.net/flags/it_klove.html). I think it's more likely than the one featured in the article, which is the Austrian flag (and not even the flag of Austria-Hungary). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.96.203.197 (talk) 09:56, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
I agree, and have changed as such, even if 11 years later. It does not make sense for the Austrian merchant flag to be the flag of Lombardo-Venetia. While I have no source, I would assume those flags were at most of Austrian supremacy. 204.191.100.252 (talk) 05:18, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Francesco III?
editUnder what numbering scheme is Francis II referred to as "Francesco III of Lombardy-Venetia"? --Jfruh 03:14, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)
The only thing I can think of would be that the Kings of Lumbardovenice took their regnal numbers from the Dukes of Milan and count Duke Francesco I Sforza (1450–1466) and Duke Francesco II Sforza (1521–1535) as the I and II Francesco's.Gerard von Hebel 18:51, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Requested move
editKingdom of Lombardy–Venetia → Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia — The right writing of compound placenames is with hyphen (like Austria-Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czecho-Slovakia, Winston-Salem, Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav). It is conjunction, not disjunction. See also Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2010 May 3#Category: Austria–Hungary. --Omnipaedista (talk) 21:41, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
