Track listing
edit@Elephantranges: Hello! About these recent edits, it's usually best not to change a track listing from a numbered list to one using a track listing template. Looking at WP:ALBUMSTYLE#Track listing, it says, "A track listing should generally be formatted as a numbered list.... In more complicated situations, a table or the {{Track listing}} template may be a better choice...." I know that some editors prefer using the track listing template, but converting an existing track listing from a numbered list is generally discouraged, unless it's one of those more complicated situations. — Mudwater (Talk) 22:31, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
@Elephantranges: I just noticed that you added a "lead vocals" column to the track listing. Actually that might justify the use of the template. Hmm... Yeah, I guess that might be okay after all. Thanks. — Mudwater (Talk) 22:33, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
@Mudwater I totally get that, but I feel that this is a case that does warrant that template due to the multiple lead vocalists that should be listed. Elephantranges (talk) 22:34, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Didn’t see your second message, disregard that. Thanks! Elephantranges (talk) 22:35, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Elephantranges: Yes, all good, thanks. P.S. If you type an at-sign followed by the editors name, that doesn't send them a notification. Alternatively you can use the {{ping}} template, which does notify them and automatically adds the at-sign. This is explained at WP:PING. — Mudwater (Talk) 22:49, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Good to know, thanks! Elephantranges (talk) 22:51, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
