Assesment
editSince there is no rating banner for WikiProject: Saskatchewan Communities & Neighbourhoods, as it is in the works, I will give it a textual assesment with the banner assesment coming later.
Strengths
- I see you have a good start to the article by putting location and it's accessibility. I wouldn't have known that otherwise.
- The history of the villiage and the Cree meaing of the name, it makes sense. Good job in making a connection between the two.
- Some good citations to start.
Weaknesses
- Even though the history is at a good starting point, it does need to be expanded.
- More stats, figures, maps, etc. would be good to have in this article.
- Put the appropriate article boxes in this article, ie: neighbouring towns box, location map.
- You could also add the industries in which most people work to make their living in the area.
- General cleanup will help boost the article.
It is a stub class article while being low on the importance scale. That is my assesment of this article. Mr. C.C. (talk) 18:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Error removed
editI'm not sure where the impression came that Kinoosao is the northernmost town in Sask accessible by road. According to my road map, Wollaston Lake Landing and Points North Landing are both on highway 905, and Descharme Lake is on an access road off highway 955. The first two are farther north, while the last is roughly the same distance north as Kinoosao. And if you include winter roads, it's possible to drive all the way to Uranium City. 23skidoo (talk) 00:47, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- An additional correction is the statement that Kinoosao is the only community in Sask. accessible only from another province. In fact the maps show another community, Sturgeon Landing, accessible only via Manitoba as well (though I note there's no article yet for this place, though it's mentioned in other articles). 68.146.71.145 (talk) 15:32, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
