Isn't Tiger a Scottie
editI don't think Tiger is a Miniature Schnauzer —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.115.113.144 (talk) 02:06, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'd have guessed him for a Scottie as well. BUT: the important question is, do we have SOURCES for that? (Or, for that matter, for the schnauzer?)Gladys J Cortez 02:41, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well, we've got Amazon and TV Guide saying Tiger's a Scottish Terrier, and I could only find (a site that amounts to little more than) a blog claiming he's a miniature grey schnauzer. Scottie he is.--Rfsmit (talk) 20:38, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Where's Kipper's Parents?
editWhere is the mother and father of Kipper? Some answers may never, ever, ever, ever, be revealed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.93.34.130 (talk) 22:31, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
List of books, please
editOkay, so the article is named “Kipper the Dog”; the introduction begins with the series of books; yet the majority of the text covers the TV series, the main part being a list of TV episodes. Can we get a list of books together here please for later inclusion in the article? (I'm starting with a B&N search. [Edit: Open Library could be useful too.])
- Kipper's A to Z: An Alphabet Adventure
- Arnold
- Basketful of Kipper (audio)
- Butterfly
- Hissss!
- Honk!
- Kipper
- Kipper and Roly
- Kipper and the Egg
- Kipper Has a Party
- Kipper in the Snow
- Kipper's Bathtime
- Kipper's Bedtime
- Kipper's Birthday
- Kipper's Book of Colours ("Colors" in US)
- Kipper's Book of Numbers
- Kipper's Book of Opposites
- Kipper's Book of Weather
- Kipper's Christmas Eve
- Kipper's Kite
- Kipper's Lost Ball
- Kipper's Monster
- Kipper's Playtime
- Kipper's Rainy Day
- Kipper's Snacktime
- Kipper's Snowy Day
- Kipper's Sticky Paws
- Kipper's Sunny Day
- Kipper's Surprise
- Kipper's Toybox
- Kipper's Tree House
- The Little Kipper Collection
- Meow!
- Picnic
- Rocket
- Sandcastle
- Skates
- Splosh!
- Swing!
- Thing!
- Where, Oh Where, Is Kipper's Bear?
Some of these have been translated, too. Rather than list all the foreign language titles, we should have a list (complete or sample) of languages into which the books have been translated. [Edit: Spanish.] I'm not sure Basketful of Kipper, being an audiobook, belongs in the list. The B&N search wasn't reliable for first published dates, being US. TBC...--Rfsmit (talk) 14:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- It's going to have to be live to get improved, isn't it? So pushed booklist almost as-is to article.--Rfsmit (talk) 23:31, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
"Additional voices" all American or Canadian
editI just checked each of the linked articles for the names under "Additional voices". Every one of them is either American or Canadian. This did not sound right. I checked IMDB's cast page for Kipper, and that only lists Clunes and Lang. Evidently, the section was added in error, hence its removal. If someone wants to restore any of those names, they'll have to provide citations.--Rfsmit (talk) 23:41, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

I always thought Pig was a girl.
editWhen I was little I used to think Pig was a girl cause to me he sounded like a girl. I was shocked when I found out he was a boy. (Squidwardfan)

Change through to though in the below line because 'through he is known' is obviously wrong:
- Kipper the Dog (Voiced by Martin Clunes) - The title character of the TV show and books. He is warm-hearted, friendly and curious. Kipper is not at all selfish, through he is known to be a hoarder. Kipper is likely portrayed after beagle, beagle mix or Jack Russell terrier breed.
fixed version:
