I have removed a sentence from the article's Reputation section, because it mischaracterized the statement of the New York Times regarding Dillard being a "serious lawmaker." The NYT piece says, "Kirk Dillard, the Republican chairman in DuPage County and a state senator who is regarded as a serious lawmaker..." (emphasis mine) -- that is, it was not the NYT's editorial stance, as this article implied. --dzhim (talk) 21:48, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
