Kirthimukha and kīrttimukha are both misspellings, but there is a difference. kīrttimukha is a misspelling within Sanskrit tradition, actually mentioned by MW, while Kirthimukha is just modern cluelessness.
Based on its incidence in a google count (about 10% on the web and about 6% on google books), I think Kirthimukha is probably not worth mentioning as a "common misspelling". --dab(𒁳)13:33, 25 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
