Dubious
editThe article states: "Mahbubani's parents fled to Singapore from Sindh, due to the partition of India, that left Sindh annexed entirely to the newly found state of Pakistan, leaving Sindhi Hindus stateless."
The last part is verifiably incorrect---thousands of Sindhi Hindus stayed after partition as Pakistani citizens. Although many Sindhi Hindus faced difficulties after partition (as Muslims did in India e.g. Hyderabad), these Sindhi Hindus were not rendered stateless. In fact, a Sindhi Hindu Rana Bhagwandas became a senior judge and the acting chief justice (in 2007) of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rana_Bhagwandas) ... Pakistani Constitution requires that the Chief Justice must be a Pakistani citizen (http://www.commonlii.org/pk/legis/const/1973/8.html), so the assertion that Sindhi Hindus were rendered stateless is patently false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.161.57.226 (talk) 06:56, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Dubious 2
editThe text "It is basically criticising the West... doing everything right to become an even more powerful nation" under Career->New Hemisphere seems to be very biased and not at all in a third person tone. The word "basically" seems to assume that the book can be summarised in a short paragraph and sounds out of place in a Wikipedia article. This section seems to have been subject to no changes at all since it was written by the page creator and first editor https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kishore_Mahbubani&oldid=694937904. Could someone who has read about the book edit it? Chieuleheng (talk) 09:31, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Chieuleheng
