Pre-emptively establishing notability
editI noticed there was a lot of coverage from good sources (NPR, BBC, New York Times, etc) regarding the distinct marketing and consumption of Kit Kats in Japan. On the other hand, the Kit Kat article, which focuses on the product in the UK and USA with small global coverage, would have been overwhelmed with the information in this article and lent to an imbalance. Kit Kats are the number one selling chocolate candy in Japan, and they have received a lot of attention world wide. The marketing campaign is very distinct from the rest of the world, and so I think it merits its own article. --Owlsmcgee (talk) 21:54, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
Seeking consensus on flavors table
editI've created this list of Japanese Kit Kat flavors which have been mentioned by the US media. Would it merit inclusion here and, if so, how? A sidebar, or a full table? --Owlsmcgee (talk) 21:56, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
