editCan someone reference these falls? They do not come up on google, the pacific northwest waterfall database nor the world waterfall database nor on The Atlas of Canada waterfalls database. SriMesh | talk 01:30, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- I had a look around the website of the museum in Haines AK - http://www.sheldonmuseum.org which is just a GREAT museum site - and though some discussions of the Klehini valley were there, nothing on the falls; on the other hand if they're on the Canadian portion of the Klehini perhaps the Alaskans don't bother to mention them; though they do mention Million Dollar Falls and its campground on the Haines Highway, which I gather from the context is in the Yukon (near Dezadeash Lake). There's nothing in BCGNIS other than for the river; but I'd suggest you might try writing the folks at the Sheldon Museum and asking them if they've heard of them and can maybe come up with a proper cite and latlong....Skookum1 (talk) 17:09, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- BTW there's a LOT of gazetted waterfalls in BCGNIS that don't have articles yet; check this google....unfortunately a staight search for "falls" on BCGNIS doesn't work well because their system search function doesn't deal with wildcards and also doesn't scan the information/name origin fields, ditto with canyons and the like.Skookum1 (talk) 17:13, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
