Statistics

edit

Ok, these have been removed NUMEROUS times, and each time the only person to reinsert them, has been Wordbuilder. It's a useless collection of information, which adds nothing to the article (other than clutter). Kingsbury's career was no more notable than any other marginal quarterback in college, thus it's not like his statistics deserve highlighting (the way they would if say...he'd won a Heisman or two in those seasons). It's against article convention, as I've found only ONE other article, the one for B.J. Symons (which Worldbuilder happens to edit quite frequently to, at least more frequently than any other editor) where ANY statistics based on game by game performance are listed. Peyton Manning, one of the best college quarterbacks of all time, doesn't have his listed. Carson Palmer, a Heisman trophy winner, doesn't have his listed. Ergo, the argument can't be made that it's a normal thing on the project. It accomplishes nothing, other than lengthening an already long (by his career length standards) article. Removing, again. 99.169.250.133 (talk) 05:58, 9 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

In the coaching career section you have 2023 instead of 2024.

On February 4th, 2023, Kingsbury was hired by the Washington Commanders to become the teams new offensive coordinator. 2600:1003:B068:A0DD:3922:773A:D10D:777A (talk) 02:59, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done Unlike Dan Quinn, the Commanders have not confirmed anything. Multiple editors added unconfirmed Raiders reports to the Kliff Kingsbury article as fact and they were all wrong. It's astonishing how quickly that debacle has been forgotten. We need to wait until the hiring is confirmed by the team, the league, Kliff Kingsbury, or at least his agent. Read WP:SPORTSTRANS if you need more examples. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 04:23, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
