What does SSC stand for????

edit

I see the term SSC on the page multiple times, yet I see no explaination of what it stands for, nor do I see it on the page for the 2008 movie. Why was this over looked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.166.88.81 (talk) 20:09, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hulu early premiere refference

edit

The sentence about the early premiere on Hulu.com is refferenced to TV.com which is not a Wikipedia recognizable source for information but I have look on Hulu and the show is premeiring early on the website so I am taking off the refence and leaving the information since it is a true statement.--T.b.77b (talk) 21:21, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spoilers

edit

I was a bit annoyed yesterday when I checked out this page before watching the latest episode of Knight Rider as the character list had been updated and explained the death of one of the characters. While I understand that we should provide this information, is it not time to perhaps move the character list to a separate page as is the case with other TV shows? That way we can avoid spoilers like this.Paullloydjohnson (talk) 14:59, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Alex Torres (Yancey Arias) appeared on The Mentalist

edit

Just thought it was interested that after they killed him off on Knight Rider, he appears on another major TV series. It was this week's episode. Enigmamsg 06:05, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The End

edit

Why is it that the notes about the end of the series have been removed? Even the channels airing it are saying it's the series finale.Andy Johnston (talk) 20:14, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

If that's the case, then it should be easy to show a reliable source stating this. By all means, go ahead and source this statement properly.--Atlan (talk) 23:59, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Considering that lots of different sources have reported it's continuing/being pulled, we should probably wait for official word from NBC. --Teancum (talk) 06:19, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
what reliable (or even semi reliable source) says its continuing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.130.198 (talk) 22:55, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
None say it's continuing, but most don't specify that it's canceled. That's the whole point. The show can be on hiatus to see how it's handled worldwide. It needs to be an official NBC press release. --Teancum (talk) 22:59, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

NBC Has Not Cancelled Knight Rider

edit

Why is it that Wikipedia warns users about editing content, especially when considering that other users are entering information into Wikipedia pages about incorrect information? Like here, someone entered that the series had been cancelled when NBC has yet to announce a decision on the series.68.41.246.248 (talk) 07:21, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I removed the statement. We can't catch them all. --Teancum (talk) 12:17, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. ;) 68.41.246.248 (talk) 12:55, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

It has to be an official statement from NBC. There are conflicting stories among other sites concerning the fall lineup. --Teancum (talk) 10:21, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can the Moderators please stop users from posting on the main Knight Rider 2008 Show to stop editing the page indicating that the series has been canceled. Nobody is posting links to any official press releases from the studio. Everyone keeps posting links to entertainment websites who are broadcasting 'rumors' about the series cancelation when the studio has not released any statements about the future of the series.68.41.246.248 (talk) 12:43, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Has anyone heard word of if this show is canceled or not? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 05:40, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The technical term is called "Hiatus (television)". -- Kheider (talk) 20:29, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Its been cancelled. All the entertainment news outlets are reporting its been cancelled. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/04/fall-tv-cheat-s.html --Killeroid (talk) 04:53, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why is it just Entertainment Weekly, i not think that it a good source "Saying it a goner."is not enough. mich (talk) 02:46, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Knight Rider 2008 is NOT on NBC's Fall schedule for 2009-10. So it is fair to assume that KITT has been sent to the junkyard... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.90.118.192 (talk) 21:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

It still doesn't need that it it offically cancel and assume that it by read that it not on the fall schedule does not mean that it is. We need artice that is specific, in other word it much state that the series is officially; therefore, the site is not a very good source.(mich (talk) 01:46, 27 May 2009 (UTC))Reply

Knight Rider Has Not Been Canceled, Stop Editing the Page

edit

Why aren't the Moderators preventing the abuse of the Knight Rider page? The Moderators removed the edits before yet everyone keeps editing the Knight Rider page as the series being canceled. There is no official press release from NBC Universal indicating that they've canceled the series. Everyone keeps posting links to articles or entertainment websites posting 'rumors' that it's been canceled when it has not.68.41.246.248 (talk) 12:36, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Many sites (including tvbythenumbers.com) have said it has been canceled. The show is not on the fall lineup for 2009. And it has been the trend for the past several television seasons that networks do not explicitly say "canceled" for some shows, just letting them fade into distant memory. Knight Rider is a franchise that Universal and/or NBC has been trying to renew (unsuccessfully) since 1991. They are most likely letting this new version be forgotten and will reboot it (yet again) in a few years. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.196.116.26 (talk) 22:27, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Many sites may say that the show has been canceled but nobody can post an official statement by NBC that have said it has. Until NBC announces that, then it's merely on hiatus. Even the upcoming DVD release says that it's 'Knight Rider Season 1' and NOT "Knight Rider The Complete Series" which means that NBC still has plans on a new season. It may return as a mid-season replacement after the fall season begins.68.41.246.248 (talk) 04:17, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
NBC will never post an official statement that the show has been cancelled - it simply will never be brought up by them again. That's how the TV business works. Your comments about the DVD release are classic original research, and wouldn't pass muster in the article. Also, there are multiple news reports confirming that the show has been cancelled, so its time for you to give up the fight. The show is not on hiatus - it's dead. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 19:44, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
NBC has NOT said anything about putting the show on hiatus, or renewing it for the mid-season. Most likely the show will go the way of the Bionic Woman renewal; you'll be lucky to see it on Sci-Fi America on reruns. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.88.143.187 (talk) 19:38, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Someone needs to fix the first paragraph so verb tense agrees (past tense.) The show is over with. TVKrazie 04:50, 15 June 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.196.112.183 (talk) Reply

Yes or No?!?!?!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.188.48.84 (talk) 19:28, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree; the opening paragraph sounds as if the show is continuing, but the article mentions at least twice the show is done. Can't a confirmation of cancellation be found at this time??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.196.119.229 (talk) 05:26, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It should remain in the present tense, per WP:MOS. It's not like the show has ceased to exist just because it's cancelled, so the present tense is appropriate.--Atlan (talk) 05:29, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cancellation

edit

I agree, we should not say if it is cancelled until NBC has told the public that it is cancelled. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gv101 (talkcontribs) 22:55, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
