Still a bit stubby, and probably all there is to say. The analysis section needs extensive references - as this is essentially presenting opinion.
- The quotations should each be directly ref'd - I did one as an example.
- The text generally should be ref'd to the texts - ie inline page refs
- I thought the guild passed to the heirs, and when the property of the guild was handed over, that's when the guild was wound up - it wasn't so much as granting the land, but the foundation of Holy Trinity Priory.

Thanks. I'll attempt to add more to the analysis, but its really a record of various opinions, I dont really want to get side tracked into precise details of Scandanavian rites. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Knightguild (talk • contribs) 02:47, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
I only have an e text version of Stowe so more extensive reference difficult. But hopefully someone can add. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Knightguild (talk • contribs) 02:50, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
The details of the handover are sketchy, I suspect it was Henry exerting pressure with his reformation of England, the HT was an Anselm backed thing while the Knighten Guilde was more of an old order that was being swept away. I've seen one website say the Guilde was suppresed by Henry, but I think thats too strong. In general I think adding this would add too much detailed speculation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Knightguild (talk • contribs) 03:00, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
And in answer to the person who thought I was advertising a club :)) I tend to create user accounts for each article I create, as I don't create many....—Preceding unsigned comment added by Knightguild (talk • contribs)
