Rumsfeld Reference
editRumsfeld didn't invent the term 'Known unknowns' and as there's no reference to him in the episode; I'm removing the reference to Rumsfeld until we get some evidence that this was a reference to his speech.
redirect
editSo I wanted to check something about this episode, so I type "known unknowns" into the wikipedia search and hit "Go", assuming it will take me to a disambiguation. Instead, it redirects to an article titled "Unknown unknowns", about decision theory. Midway through that article, there is a mention of the House episode and a link to the article "Known Unknowns". Now am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous that you type in the exact title, it takes you to something with a different title, which contains a link to this article, whose title is identical to the original search? 24.79.89.131 (talk) 04:29, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Removal of unsourced trivia
editSeashorewiki (talk · contribs) has begun to edit war my removal of unsourced trivia, stating "It's not your job to remove large sections of what other people have contributed". First, I did not simply "remove large sections"; I removed unsourced trivia. Secondly, this matter has been discussed previously at WP:ANI#User:71.77.21.198, with admin Black Kite stating that "Removing unsourced trivia from articles is never incorrect". The information needs to be sourced before it is restored, and even if it is restored, it eventually needs to be moved out of a list of miscellaenous trivia and integrated with the remainder of the article, per Wikipedia standards at WP:TRIVIA. 71.77.21.198 (talk) 15:45, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Suggestions for the trivia
edit- Source the unsourced items.
- Move the music items to a "Music" section.
- Get rid of the Merkel item, unless someone can make a plausible explanation as to why this is worth mentioning (and if so, move it to the plot summary).
- After the remaining items are sourced, reword them and move them to the plot summary at the appropriate place. The items still may need to be removed, but I have no way of knowing that until I read them in the context of the plot summary. 71.77.21.198 (talk) 01:28, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
